Blackwood Church Of Christ

At the end of last year we decided the youth room needed a revamp.  The purple wall was looking a bit dull and lifeless and the room was just not feeling cozy enough anymore.  With the help of some dedicated church member and a generous donation by Signs By Knight the youth room has gone from a cold purple to a earthy and warm earthy burnt orange.  The youth got creative and painted some more pictures to add to the existing mural of paintings.  A long winding set of footprints now lines the back wall as a symbol of the journey we have been on together thus far and the old photos now run along side the footprints.  Home made bean-bags are one of the latest editions to the youth room in an effort to slowly update the decor.  Next project will be some big floor cushions.  Recent photos of Scope and Youth Group now line the pin up board.  Next to the photos are a series of cut-out words and pictures the guys find important.   Yep, things are slowly changing in the youth room.  Stay tunned for other stuff going down in the next few months…
